The next stop for 11, Mark Messier, will be the Hockey Hall of Fame. The legend hung up his skates on September 12, 2005, at the age of 44 after amassing an amazing array of achievements. Over the course of his career he scored 694 goals, led the Edmonton Oilers to five Stanley Cup championships and the New York Rangers to their first Cup since 1940, received the Hart Trophy in 1990 and 1992, won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1984, and was named to 16 All Star teams. This cherry wood framed collage, which commemorates the Rangers retiring Messier's 11 on January 12, 2006, features 11 of the jersey and a close up photo of Messier that he has hand signed. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
